The Bonomi Contemporaneo Italiano is part of Idrosanitaria Bonomi SpA, whose origins go back to the early twentieth century in Lumezzane in the province of Brescia, in the industrial zone renowned for metal manufacturing and metal-working.
Today, with three production sites, Idrosanitaria Bonomi is a leading company in the sector of valves, fittings, plumbing and heating systems. Since 2000, the brand has consolidated a new approach to designBonomi Contemporaneo Italiano.
With the collaboration of the designer Sergio Mori, Bonomi is the first company to launch the “flat mixer tap” (Arco), an interpretation of the tap that has today become a paradigm for design.
The latest creation is Trenta9, a concept of taps and fittings which is ideal for young couples and single people who want to furnish their homes with sophisticated design fittings. All items have a guarantee of Italian craft quality that is the hallmark of Bonomi and come at an affordable price. In 2008, the essential style of the Linea Classica was enhanced by the Aqua Jewels collection which originated from the encounter with Marcel Wanders, the eclectic and internationally admired Dutch designer.
Since 2009, the design team of the group was strengthened by the arrival of Massimiliano Abati, who is responsible for the design of the Just range, and, since 2011, by Brian Sironi, whose design received the Compasso d’Oro award in 2011 and who created the Virgo range for Bonomi.
The sharing of ideas between Bonomi and the world of design has continued unabated: the latest arrivals are Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, designers of the latest range to be created: Swing.
